After reading my blog and the comments I’ve posted about how things should fit, can you spot the problem with this suit’s fit?
Suit: Kingsridge, thrifted, $20
Shirt: Brooks Brothers, bought secondhand online, $40
Tie: Drakes for Ben Silver, thrifted, $3
Pocket Square: Stein Mart, $10
Shoes: Johnston & Murphy, thrifted, $12
Tailoring: $15
Total: $100
If I’d paid retail prices: $1250 or more

Oooh, I like this. Are the shoulders too narrow?
Looks like the shoulders are a touch too wide, causing bunching at the top of the sleeve.
The coat is too small in the shoulders.
Shoulders are too wide and left sleeve may be uneven.
The sleeves are too long. Should show a bit of cuff.
The shoulders are good, but the sleeves are uneven. Your stance is a bit uneven, like in most people, so I would have the left sleeve shortened. Plus, the waist should be tailored to give it a more snug fit.
In my honest opinion, although I can’t quite clearly make it up from the photo; the jacket feels like it’s a tad too long.
The pants, in fit and length, are perfect.
What is the answer?! To me, it looks like the button stance is a bit high.
Most folks got it right – the main issue is that the shoulders are too narrow. The sleeve length is also slightly uneven.
