Sometimes, no matter how great the find, no matter how badly we want it to be right, and no matter how close it comes, an article of clothing just doesn’t fit.  After wearing this suit for several months, I’ve reluctantly come to the conclusion the jacket is just a bit too short for me.  And while I’m willing to live with imperfection, this is the sort of problem that will bother me every time I wear it.  I’m even standing with my hands in my pockets today because I’m self-conscious about it.  So this is probably the last outing for this suit, and I will pass it on to another thrifty gent somewhere.

Suit: Oxxford, consignment store, $60

Shirt: Jos. A. Bank, clearance, $20

Tie: Brooks Brothers, discount store, $10

Shoes: Crockett & Jones for Brooks Brothers, clearance, $180

Total: $270

If I’d paid retail prices: Well over $4000.

What would the measurements of the suit be/selling price, then?
